Application Positioning
We can talk through how your experiences fit together and how to communicate your strengths, motivations, and overall story more clearly.
Free medical school application support
I offer free support for personal statements, secondaries, application positioning, and general medical school application questions. The goal is simple: help you present your story more clearly and approach the application process with confidence.
What to expect
Fill out the short form with a little bit about yourself, what you want help with, and your availability.
We’ll begin with a brief conversation so I can hear about your goals and get a sense of your application story.
After that, I can review essays, answer questions, and help you think through next steps.
How I Help
We can talk through how your experiences fit together and how to communicate your strengths, motivations, and overall story more clearly.
I’m happy to review your personal statement at any stage, whether you are brainstorming, working through a first draft, or refining a final version.
I can help you refine your responses to school-specific prompts, cut essays down to the word limit, reduce repetition across responses, and keep your writing clear and concrete.
If you are unsure where to start or just want another perspective, I’m also happy to answer broader application and writing questions.
About
I’m a medical student at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. I graduated from USC with a B.S. in Human Biology, a minor in Health Care Studies, and an M.S. in Global Medicine.
Before medical school, I worked in medical journalism and wrote more than 400 articles. I enjoy writing, editing, and synthesizing large amounts of information into something focused, accurate, and easy to follow.
Since starting medical school, I’ve been reviewing applications for friends and friends of friends. I’ve loved learning about people’s stories and helping them reflect on their “why medicine” in a way that feels specific and honest.
It has also been rewarding to see people I’ve worked with go on to join excellent medical schools, and I’d love to extend that same kind of support to others.
The application process is already stressful and expensive, so I wanted to offer this support for free.
